I don't know if this is even anything new, but there were articles in various Danish newspapers yesterday, about this Australian company who started selling lingerie for men. And it's not like it's just some fancy boxers or leather g-strings... It's actual panties and bras! You can see their selection here:

http://www.hommemystere.com/

I don't know how many men would actually want to wear this, but I couldn't help but to think about the hung angels of the world :) It looks like their panties are made to fit bulges and I'm thinking their bras must be suited well for those girls who did not have breast surgery.

Just curious to hear people's opinion on this :)

Looking at your links, Natina, it seems they are more the "classical" male lingerie. Like, kind of silly-looking items, only made for fun in the bedroom. I know the stuff from Homme Mystere probably kind of is too, but I still think it's different, in that it's a lot more like what women would wear.

Funny pic they put on the top of the site- I don't think she finds this all that sexy.

It was just found that women's bras really aren't beneficial at all, so now they're making men's bras. Great. What a step forward.

Never underestimate the ability of capitalist market economies to sell you what you really don't need.

I was confused about their target demo (and still am). Here's an excerpt from the FAQs:

Q 10. You should cater to your gay customers as well
A. We provide our lingerie for guys. We are not concerned if you are gay, straight, vegetarian, republican, anglican, martian or any other persuasion. We just design and manufacture attractive luxury underwear for men.

Q 11. I'm just browsing your store andI do not understand why men would want to wear lingerie?
A. It's fun, it feels great and it makes choosing underwear each day a little more enjoyable.

This story has got quite a lot of attention here. Another Danish newspaper posted this today:

http://www.bt.dk/udland/se-billederne-nu-skal-rigtige-maend-gaa-i-g-streng-og-bh#slide-1

I hope people outside Denmark are able to see the pictures, if not, let me know and I'll post them ;)

I think it's funny how wearing lingerie will apparently make your girlfriend really excited about playing Xbox :D

yes. this has recently been a very big issue amongst men. choosing underwear should be blast and not the dull routine chore it currently is.

I agree. I get so sick of deciding-- clean, or dirty?-- simply because the answer never changes.

If I were with a client and he had "men's lingerie" on instead of the usual women's I get surprised with, I'd laugh his ass out of the room.

I want to see some ladies wearing these:

http://www.hommemystere.com/store/product_images/d/417/_20C9225_-_Version_2__63092_zoom.jpg

I'd also like to see some kind on cock stocking. Like an actual stay-up stocking you could roll on your penis.

Why are they marketing this towards masculine men? Like "you can keep your masculinity and still wear a bra and panties . Your woman will love you for it -- really"

Why not make attractive well made lingerie targeted to girls who happen to have penises?

If you are determined to market lingeree for "men" just go ahead and produce things that make men look good. It would probably look gay as hell though.

Yep. And I extend that to all male "dress up" type stuff.

Except chaps. 'Cause they're just plain awesome, right?*

*chaps are not awesome. Please do not purchase, wear, or encourage use by others.

Transgender Lingerie Brand, Chrysalis, Fills An Important Void (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/04/transgender-lingerie-brand-chrysalis_n_2617584.html

From Isis King (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/05/isis-king-transgender-model-fashion-design_n_2079230.html) and Lea T (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/25/lea-t-walks-milan-fashion-week_n_1912798.html) to Connie Fleming (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/17/michelle-obama-candy-magazine-transgender-connie-fleming_n_2317992.html) and Lauren Foster (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/12/lauren-foster-alex-davis-transgender-discussion_n_1662543.html), there are more transgender and transsexual models working in fashion than ever before. So it's high time the fashion industry, specifically the traditional world of lingerie, plays a little catch-up. Chrysalis Lingerie (http://www.chrysalislingerie.com/), a lingerie company devoted to transgender women, is aiming to do just that.
Since 2010, Chrysalis Lingerie (http://www.chrysalislingerie.com/) has created a line of specialty bras and underwear that cater to the specific needs of transgender women. The underwear is designed to lift, tuck and smooth while the bras are designed with full-cup padding.
Beyond that, you can't tell a Chrysalis bra from any other: The styles are feminine yet not overly frilly, and they are modeled by a bevy of gorgeous transgender models in beautifully shot videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lOOQ-huxhWg#!).
The idea, said Chrysalis' co-founder Cy Lauz (http://www.lingerietalk.com/2012/03/26/lingerie-news/were-done-hiding-a-first-lingerie-line-for-transgendered-women.html), was to make a product that would eliminate at least one of the stressful challenges facing trangender women. “Speaking from personal experience, I found no products that specifically cater to transgender women. There are some things for cross-dressers and drag queens, but they’re all sexually exploitative," she told Lingerie Talk (http://www.lingerietalk.com/2012/03/26/lingerie-news/were-done-hiding-a-first-lingerie-line-for-transgendered-women.html). “I wanted a product that actually celebrated who we are, something that made us feel beautiful but is also practical.”
It's an important niche in the market: There are an estimated 700,000 transgender people in the U.S., according to a 2011 study (http://helenhill.wordpress.com/2011/06/04/ucla-study-estimates-approximate-700000-transgender-people-in-the-usa/), but few options catering to them in the market. The response to Chrysalis Lingerie across the Web has been widely positive and the brand was featured on the Style Network's documentary, "Born Male, Living Female." (http://www.stylenetwork.com/articles/born-male-living-female-premieres/7344)
Chrysalis Lingerie has been around for three years but is enjoying newfound recognition. We've reached out to Chrysalis Lingerie to find out when we might be seeing e-commerce on their site, but in the meantime, check out the company's Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chrysalis-Lingerie-for-the-Transgender-Woman/197070836986818) for all sorts of fashion- and LGBT-related goodness.

I think lingerie 'for trans women' is a lousy idea, too. Like all women, we come in different shapes and sizes and the majority of us can fit just fine into clothes not specially tailored 'for us,' whatever that even means. As to the one thing we trans women all do have in common (pre-ops, anyway) - bulge - there are plenty of solutions already on the market.

I am 6'5", 220# and find it almost impossible to find things to fit. Thigh his come just above my knees.

I found Homme Mystere recently & got their China Doll bra and panty set and the Fun Teddy. The stuff is way too expensive, the product range is limited, but everything fit. The best part is that my accessories, which I like to keep hidden, weren't hanging outside the panties or teddy. But some cute boyshorts that I found at Walmart do the job just as well and I like them better.
