I like the fact you like sports Victoria. I care big time since my team the Rams have 2 picks in the 1st round. I'm hoping for a Wr, O-line,RB. They need weapons for Sam Bradford.:)

its wide open this year with no obvious franchise players. I won't say it's a weak field but there's certainly a dearth of can't miss QB's like a Luck or RG. (Wilson went in the third)
This year the GM's and coaches will earn their money as the second and third rounds could be where the real quality lies.
Let the games begin.

Today is the day! And I have no clue for my Browns outside the fact that getting a TE wouldn't be a bad idea, especially since both the coach and Norv seem to do some remarkable things with a TE (that sounded really dirty). But it would be nice outside of the draft if we did not have an owner being investigated by the IRS and the FEDS or having a LB getting busted for soliciting a prostitute...damn another long season!

What about a work-horse back that can blast through the hole?

big news after round 1 is who didn't get picked:
Manti Teo
Gino Smith
not a single running back

Until LA gets a team proper, I kinda don't care. I'll pay attention to the Chargers because they're my team, and I'll keep tabs on the Rams because they MIGHT move back.

Good hands, square pads and the rock will be pounded into the end zone in no time.

We still talking about football? :-D

can't believe how his stock tanked from a year ago. finally went in the fourth round.
all sorts of chatter about lack of arm strength and athleticism.... must have had a dreadful combine.

Really, Barkley should have come out his Jr year. He would have been the 3rd QB drafted behind Luck and Griffin3 in the 1stRD. Lost a ton of money coming back. All that year did was allow scouts to pick at his game. The Eagles got great value with this pick, now lets see if he can play.:)

The Giants needed O-line help and got that, just not sure if he was drafted too high. The D-line picks were ok, but I was kinda hoping they'd grab another corner in round 2 or 3. The Nassib pick--eh, yes, I think he was rated higher than he went, but, honestly, I don't think he'll do anything for the team except be trade bait, and even then, I don't know what value he'd bring to the table.

Pleased with what the Rams did. Moving up to get Austin was a good move, he wasn't going to be there at 16 so the Rams moved up. Loved the Barrett Jones pick, solid O-lineman and a winner. Rams did a nice job, they have to keep improving because the NFC west is gonna be a beast this fall.:)

True, but if Eli goes down, we're fucked. And not the good kind of fucked, either.

I agree, I don't know why Nassib dropped so far. I thought he was at least a 2nd rounder. Guess that's why I'm not a scout/gm.

His own Coach didn't draft him. That alone probably set off red flags. If Marrone his own College Coach who had him for 4yrs didn't pull the trigger something was up.:)

For that reason, it must have been an agonizing decision for Coach Marrone. He owes his new team his best coaching judgement but had to know passing on Nassib would relegate the kid to the trash heap.

who knows? maybe Gints got themselves a fourth round future star.
