I tried Google translate but I think the term is lost in translation.
What is post op transsexual in Spanish, French, and Portuguese? Is the term said differently i.e. after op or something similar?
If fact if you know what the term is in any other language (other than the three I’ve mentioned above) please reply
And to all who might take offence at the term none is meant.
Thanks

In french, post op is translated as: "opérée", which means "has had surgery..." :)

Post-op is sometimes used among "fans".

I second that.
"Opérée" seems ok.
But "post-op" could be used to because it could mean "post-opération" (shorter version)

But it's very rare for me to be in a conversation in french about it. It's usually in english.

In mexico, Don't know the official term:

Self: Yo soy chica transgenero operada (I am an operated transgenderd lady)

Someon:Ella ya esta operada: She is already operated (literal) meaning: she's already had the operation

Usando modismos: Ella es post op (operacion) " She is post operation.

slang:
Se mocho el pito: She cut off her dick

In German the literal translation would be "postoperative Transexueller", but I've no idea what the plattdeutsch version would be.

Thanks to all who replied your input is greatly appreciated.
I was hoping for more of a response and a larger terminology base.

There is no pidgin equivalent of transsexual. I checked.

That also qualifies me as a geek. :geek:
