I didn't understand the Tgirl identity thing until meeting a really cool girl. She was more female than most GG's, also very down to earth. It has taken me a while for me to realize my line between CD's and Tgirls. She has to identify herself as a woman, I term it "vibe". If the vibe I get is female I am good to go, if the vibe is not female I lock up big time and can't do it.

That is separate from masculine/fem appearance as I can handle some masculine features if the vibe is there. Same with breasts, not necessary but it helps with the total picture.

Attractiveness is a separate quality and is in the eyes of the beholder. There are big differences in what I find sufficiently attractive and what another would.

The problem is we paint pictures of people with too broad a brush, and forget the each person has some unique qualites. Like a story I heard on Youtube. The person considered themselves gay, but love doing drag shows. She found herself sometimes dressing in 'drag' for the entire weekend of a show. But she came to a realization that she lived so much for drag shows, because it let her express who she really was inside. She made the decision to stop doing shows and transistion to a full-time female. My point is, that someone who met her, during a her show times, would not have realized who slhe was becoming.

Of course everyone has their preferences. Very few people like waking up to a different looking person, than they went to bed with. But classifiying a whole categories of people, here does seem to be hypocrtical. Most here want to be able to define themselves, not some else's label. So we should not be trying to judge people, such as crossdressers.
