Doc Johnson products have been shown extensively in two episodes of this current season of Shameless, Showtime’s hit series starring critically-acclaimed William H. Macy, Joan Cusack, and Emmy Rossum.
In Shameless episode 4, The Helpful Gallaghers, characters Sheila (Joan Cusack) and Jody (Zach McGowan) are elated to have just become parents/guardians to a newborn baby boy. But along with the joys of parenting an infant, their once lively sex life has gone from “active” to “nonexistent”. In order to bring a little spice back into the bedroom and revive their sexual intimacy, Sheila suggests the use of sex toys. At first, she tempts Jody with the iconic Doc Johnson Hard Rammer.
Later, in episode 5, The Sins of My Caretaker, Frank (award-winning William H. Macy) and one of his sons, Carl, (Ethan Cutkosky) discover overflowing boxes of Doc Johnson products at newly-adventurous Sheila’s home during a visit. When there is a knock at the door, Sheila and Jody scramble to tuck all the toys away before letting in other unexpected guests. Clearly shown in this scene were Doc Johnson’s Wendy Williams Anal Trainer Kit, the WonderLand Kinky Kat, Platinum Silicone The Big Guy Anal Plug , the Belladonna’s Tie Me Spank Me Fuck Me Kit.
