Legendary record producer Shadow Morton (what a great name) who produced, among others, the Shangri-Las and Vanilla Fudge, has died. So too has Tony Sheridan with whom The Beatles played in Hamburg before they got signed to a record deal. (They cut a few tracks for Polydor with Sheridan)
The third to head off into the sunset is the lovely british comic actor Richard briars.
