There's nothing wrong with tipping.it shows your appreciation, helps build a rapport and sets you apart from the rest of her clients.i bet she'll go up and beyond the call of duty next time you see her.
I always go the extra mile for my guys who tip (extra time, referrals to girls i know, etc).

That isn't what I'm suggesting. Waiters, cab drivers, hairdressers, etc. OWE money to the rest of the house once they hit the door. Actually, same goes for strippers, so one should be obliged to tip them for sure. All of these people owe tip out to bus boys and bartenders, rent for their car and permit, rent for their chair and permit, rent for privilege of being up on that pole. An escort has no immediate overhead. It's more like a retail experience as opposed to a hospitality experience (though there is some MAJOR grey area here).

If you want to tip, go for it. I routinely tip people in situations where it isn't usually done (non valet parking attendents, cashiers at Ralph's, etc).

True that. I honestly didn't know all of the expenses which go into being an escort until I started doing it myself. Most people think we are loaded because of the donations we ask for but it's not true. Escorting is a privately run business just like other small business and, just like them, we have plenty of overhead.

Do you tip your dentist, doctor, or accountant - not usually. I do tip escorts though if they go above the expected. 10% is probably in the ball park. I also pony up if we went longer than the agreed time. However, I feel it is the providers job to track the time, if she is enjoying the session it is in her control to let the clock slide. Often we go get drinks or dinner together after - again sometimes it is on the clock, sometimes not.

Something that will help her much more than a tip, write a review and let your buddies know that they should see her. That is her best kind of advertising.

As Lilly noted, there are a lot of expenses to being an escort, the biggest is a hotel room downtown, easily 150 a night + parking, with the other expenses two 1 hour appointments just gets to breakeven, then she starts to earn a decent fee.

I don't believe the words hooker and escort are interchangeable. Hookers fuck for cash. If you are looking to get laid go out and find a hooker. Escorts, while we also fuck for cash, are more about providing a memorable erotic experience, intimate companionship and/or fulfilling a particular fantasy the client may have had for years. There is a difference.

This whole escort expense thing came about while arguing that escorts deserve be tipped for outstanding service same as the other service or hospitality industries. Not a complaint or worry, simply pointing out we have expenses same as other commonly tipped service providers.

I have noticed the same is true with most of my repeat clients regardless of wether I was tipped or not. I think this has more to do with getting know a person and their likes / dislikes. I am also much more comfortable with someone I know rather than someone I just met which allows me to focus more on providing a hot experience.

Tipping is simply a way to show appreciation for a provider going above and beyond. It is by no means required but it sure does put a smile on my face knowing I got a little extra because I gave a little extra.

While I tend to be overly generous with gratuities on the whole, I don't ordinarily tip my dates, but it's not something I wouldn't do depending on circumstance. On a typical date I've already put up quite a bit in roses and will usually take care of drinks, dinner, transportation, and most of my recent dates have been on my turf so I am also covering room, sundries, etc. Sometimes I'll have a gift for them and I try not to be an ass for the evening so that they don't see it so much as 'work'.

It was mentioned early on in this thread about tipping in advance. This is OK if you have been with the girl before and know that she provides good service. I can't see it with someone new. Most tipping is done after the fact so why should escorts expect to be tipped in advance?
