Was that the 48 frame rate one? I was deciding whether to go see the 24 frame rate or the 48... I heard the 48 gives the movie that fake, soap-opera look.

It was the 24 frame rate. But yeah, I really enjoyed it.

Haven't seen but i hear the 48 fps is supposed to make things more "lifelike" So i i guess that means fantasy has become reality??? :D

Go see the 48 frame rate version - if you dont like the way it looks just blink twice as much - should all even out and it will be fine...

saw a screener of it. Was fantastic and continues in the same tone and style as Lord Of the Rings Trilogy.
