1) It's not about strength. It's about social order. In our society, people are judged by the company they keep. Furthermore, as I said earlier, I just want to be happy and I don't think I could be so in a relationship that is constantly being tested. I've already passed my test (transition) and I don't want to go through it again.

It's also about sexual attraction. Androgyny does absolutely nothing for me.

2) I actually don't feel like I should pass, but I do, and believe me, I'm quite happy with that pleasant surprise. That said, when I say 'I pass,' it's based on my experience of being 7 years transitioned without issue and largely having cisgender privilege despite my background. It has to do with the fact that I live in the real world, not the 'trans world.' Not that there's anything wrong with the trans world; it's just that it's not where I am. I get respect not just as a transperson, but as just a person, and I'm not trading that in for anything.
