This is your geeky TS porn star here to ask who else plays magic the gathering? Return to Ravnica just came out last friday and i'm creating a new deck I want to try out. I am partial to green white and black but recently getting into blue and red. So my currnt deck is an IZZEt deck. any other MTG players here? if so are you up for losing badly to me?

If you have an awesome deck post it I want to see what creative people are up too. I know wendy summers will be up for it but I already beat her like 18 times (literally) This is my favorite card so far in the new set. I hope to build a deck around him soon. whahahaha love you all xoxo :-)

i stopped playing magic in some time between the dark and ice age. i was fed up with little kids whose parents had deep pockets just building decks through the secondary market.

magic died a quiet death and i am happy that i never played again.

I just bought one of the new decks and a few booster packs. I still haven't opened them since I've been busy with midterms and what not. I'm hoping it meets my expectations.

well, i played magic in 1994-5. what were you then, 5-6 years old. you could have been on of those kids wanted to put in a box and mail to Taiwan to sew me some shoes so you wouldn't clutter up the tournaments.

i remember the day "the fork" got banned to 1 per deck...that was the beginning of the end because i loved 4 forks in my red spells deck

I got caught up in it when I was like ten. My neighbor, he was older than me by about 5-6 years, introduced me MTG and various other things that my ten year old brain didn't know about.

I fucking love the new Rackdos.

However I do miss Magic from Invasion block(before Magic got more organized with its R&D shit). You could build a deck outta whatever and it wasn't AS tribal and hybrid didn't exist.

Now tribal is the thing and Hybrid makes it stupid easy to splash.

On a side note, I LOVE the new Rakdos, but gawd am I sick of goblin;s.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just wanted to say that Rakdos, Lord of Riots is my favorite card from the set too! Except, I built a deck around him and it didn't end up being very good...
