Randy Newman. Oscar-winning composer. Grammy-winning artist. But most of all, professional troublemaker.
Newman's biting sarcasm dates back to his earlier days with the song "Political Science." More recently he composed the pointed "A Few Words in Defense of Our Country."
Now he's at it again with a new song, "I'm Dreaming" ... of a white president.
He has released "I'm Dreaming" as both a video and a free download via his website. Share with your friends at your own risk. It's getting ugly out there.
Edit: I thought putting the word "sarcasm" in the headline would be a tip-off, but those of you calling Newman a "racist" are missing the point. He is making fun of racists, as a number of other comments have pointed out. You can disagree with his point of view, but he is not advocating racism. Exactly the opposite
