Someone attending the Republican National Convention allegedly threw peanuts a black camerawoman for CNN and said, "This is how we feed animals," according to Talking Points Memo. (http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/cnn-republican-convention-black-camerawoman.php) The nut thrower was then escorted from the convention.
TPM reports that a CNN spokesperson confirmed the incident but wouldn't elaborate. Here's CNN's statement: "CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment."
