Do you wear leather shoes, coats or anything made from leather? Fur is just the hide off an animal leather is the hide off an animal. The fur used in the US is from mink farms which are treated better than most cows and killed quickly. Don't get all high and mighty over on hide or another, humans are at the top of the food chain.

Tell me what you think of alligator boots or snake skin belts or elephant penis canes, what is it about fur coats that drive people nuts. It is a hide from a dead animal, unless your a vegan SHUT UP.:yayo:

I'll always be sad that the appointment we had all those years ago in Boston didn't work out. I know you would have rocked my world.

And the innocent animals killed to make your closetful of coats never sought to be slaughtered so you could adorn your body Allanah. Killing animals to make fur coats is murder. Sorry that your beauty makes you unable to have a little empathy for these innocent animals.

Innocent? HA these are nasty carnivores. If you eat meat or fish and are against fur your a hypocrite.

The American mink is a carnivorous animal, which feeds on Rodent - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodent), Fish - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fish), Crustacean - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crustacean), Amphibian - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphibian) and Bird - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird). Among the rodents killed by the American mink in its native range are rats and mice of the Genus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genus) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hesperomys, Microtus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microtus), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigmodon and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neotoma. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marsh_rabbit are frequently taken in marshy or swampy tracts.[26] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-c178-25)
In http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tartaria, the American mink's most important food items are Vole - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vole), fish, crustaceans, frogs and aquatic insects. In winter, aquatic foods predominate, while land-based prey increases in importance during the spring. Within the Altai Mountains - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altai_Mountains), the American mink feeds predominantly on mammals such as rodents, shrews and moles, as well as birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Among the 11 different bird species preyed upon by minks in Altai are Dipper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dipper) and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine_grosbeak. Among fish, small species predominate in the diet of minks in Altai, and include ; Minnow - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minnow), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gudgeon_%28fish%29 and wide-headed Sculpin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sculpin). In the Sverdlovsk Oblast - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sverdlovsk_Oblast) and Irkutsk Oblast - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irkutsk_Oblast), mouse-like rodents are their most important foods, followed by birds, fish and insects. In the Russian Far East - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Far_East), where crustaceans are scarce, the American mink feeds extensively on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphipod.[27] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-s1407-26) In the British Isles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Isles), dietary composition varies seasonally and regionally. European rabbit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_rabbit) are the most commonly taken prey in areas where they are common, especially in summer. A range of small rodents and insectivores are preyed upon, but to a lesser degree. European hare - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_hare) are occasionally attacked. Minks in Britain prey on several bird species, with Duck - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck), Moorhen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moorhen) and Coot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coot) being most frequently targeted on lakes and rivers, while Gull - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gull) are taken in coastal habitats. Aquatic species preyed upon in Britain include European eel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_eel), rock-pool fish such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blenny, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shore_crab and Crayfish - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crayfish).[28] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-h492-27) American minks have been implicated in the decline of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_water_vole in the United Kingdom and linked to the decline of waterfowl across their range in Europe. They are now considered vermin in much of Europe and are hunted for the purpose of Wildlife management - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wildlife_management).[29] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-28) In the Cape Horn Biosphere Reserve - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Horn_Biosphere_Reserve), mammals, including both native and exotic rodents, are the American mink's main prey throughout the year, though birds are of equal importance during their summer nesting periods.[30] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-29)
The American mink may pose a threat to Poultry - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poultry). According to Clinton Hart Merriam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinton_Hart_Merriam)[31] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-m63-30) and Ernest Thompson Seton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_Thompson_Seton),[32] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-s885-31) although the American mink is a potential poultry thief, it is overall less damaging than the Stoat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoat). Unlike the stoat, which often engages in Surplus killing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surplus_killing), the mink usually limits itself to killing and eating one fowl during each attack. Studies in Britain indicate poultry and game birds only constitute 1% of the animals' overall diets.[28] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_mink#cite_note-h492-27)

wow that is quite an over-the-top response ! I remain unpersuaded. That is nature - red in tooth and claw. it is the natural order as is the fact that human's are carnivores. Wearing fur in siberia or northern canada might be an act of survival. Wearing fur in manhattan, London or Paris is pure vanity and is just supporting cruelty to animals..

Once again it's a fucking animal raised for it's fur and treated better than most chicken, cows or farm raised fish. If it's OK to wear in Siberia than it's OK in Miami.

Hypocrite
