Nina Lisa, you know that tomatoes used to be called “love apples”? You mix them with a bit of wine or whisky and a few other things, and they make for great dishes… :)

Hard to find a tasty tomato these days. All the supermarkets offer tasteless and often mushy stuff. Best to get em direct from the farm or failing that from the farmers' market.

They’re made to grow too fast; they’re just filled with water. But if you find good ones, cooking them will squish the taste out… :)
But as love apples, in a good dish, Prospero, aren’t they ideal for good company?
