Just like any human being - as I think Bella observed - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. And you're right on the money, in my view. Women's desire is much more complex. What little testosterone produced by the adrenal glands come into play (despite androgen inhibitors, which plays more on the testes); oestrogens creates a more passive desire, that to be taken and caressed and cuddle, also creates that aura, that attractiveness and the charm and the gestures that comes with it. With oestrogens, theres even neurotransmitters that runs along the spine to favor the body position during sex: biologists call this aspect of female sexuality "receptivity". This all participate to women's desire: it is just that much more subtle and broad. Not at all the same as this huge, flat one way drive testosterone alone creates.
