to embed youtube videos, just use the direct url link, not the short code. so when you click on "share" on the youtube video, it gives you a short code. if you click options just beside the short code after you click on share, it gives you the option where you click for "long link" click that and use that URL to embed.

do not use the html embed codes because this forum has a plugin that automatically will embed a youtube video just from the long url :)
