If you're intending to market an event/ your website/ your mom's diner: here's a hopefully helpful hint.
Bumping a bagillion threads at once doesn't gain you any more visibility since they will slowly sink down the page, as a group, into oblivion.
A more useful tactic is to pick A thread and post to it at, say I don't know... 2pm. Then come back at 4pm and either respond to / and or bump that thread or bump another thread.. Lather, rinse, repeat every few hours.
Also it helps if you post nude pictures to get people to care more for your thread...
