I figured that a transsexual porn forum would be the best place to ask this question since other trans forums are almost exclusively with girls who hates their penis.
I'm currently starting my transition as MtF. The issue that I have is that I like my penis and want to maintain my ability to get erections. I'm at like 2 months hrt and I still have no issue having a erection. But what makes me afraid is that many trans girls talk about how it become impossible to maintain an erection after a while. I was wondering is that was due to having low testosterone, due to tucking or does it depends on your genetics? Do you need to reduce your dosages after a while to keep an erection? I want to take good care of my genitals and having at least some sex life is important for me.
Thank you for your help :)

Good question.
Havent figured that one out yet either.
Best thing you can do either way is KEEP MASTURBATING!
Get it erect... at least as erect as you can once in a while.

Hi Alex,
It is going to be different for everyone. Most cases seem to be that you can get an erection but you have very little fluids to ejaculate. For me, after 7 years, have had no functionality changes. Take this with a grain of salt though because I'm unable to develop breasts due to my low body weight. I would say wait and see how your body deals with them and consult your doctor as needed to obtain your desired results.

So if you touch it it's cool but if "he" brushes up against it it goes down because he's gay?
Not being a smart ass I'd just like to know how you personally operate.

I can't speak for Kitty but many women I know have rationalizations that its something they could do with a clitoris, so it's ok. My ex gf used to rub it instead of stroking for masturbation.

Yes I rub it too... Sometimes jerk but less often... I like rubbing more... and playing with my nipples at the same time.
I also love getting really hard... It does not bother me
My genderdysforia lies more in the way I am treated sexually by another... and my overal looks lol

Thanks for the advices dear ladies :)
I'll make sure to use "my thing" once a week or so. ^_^
I'll also check how my sex drive change with time. If anything happens I'll go see my doctor to check my hormones and adjust my dosage.

I totally feel the same!
Btw, my username is kinda stupid and random. I made this account before transitioning while I was still in denial. My name is Alex though but the "bob" is completely random! :P

If you want to continue sexually functioning as a male your best option would be breast implants, electrolysis and facial surgery.
If you use a testro blocker and ingest estrogen you are going to lose the ability and the desire to perform penetrative sex PERIOD. This will not happen overnight in my case it took 6 years but it inevitably happens.
On a standard HRT regime in less then a year it will be difficult to revert to your former capability... after a year your committed to difficult/impossible erections no ejaculative capability and penile shrinkage.

Buy some cialis 20mg should keep you happy for near 36 hours. Now if you're a crazy motherfucker you should get cialis black 800mg. That might make your dick hard for a year.

This really isn't true, and is irresponsible advice to give someone starting their transition. HRT is a critical part of transitioning and to suggest avoiding it specifically for erections is ass backwards for a persons goal in transitioning. There are many trans women completely capable of penetrating while on hormones. Should 'Alex' find that she can't maintain an erection then perhaps some Viagra or like drugs could possibly resolve the issue.
I find it silly for girls to not take hormones purely for 'sex' reasons. The whole purpose of being MtF is to look, feel, act, and live as a woman. Yet forgoing hormones completely is going to doom your body to stay developed as a man with regards to fat distribution and muscle tone. Nobody wants to be dressed like the 'fish' walking around with a man gut and broad shoulders. lol Hormones also contribute to a trans womans mental state, with regards to having estrogen/testosterone levels that match genetic females.
