A small matter of protocol for anyone who is interested when LF refers to Obama staying at Buckingham Palace in the video posted by Ben -the protocol is that a Head of State can stay in the Palace, if he or she so wishes, whereas a Prime Minister -for example the PM's of Canada and Australia- is not invited to do so. This is because our own Head of State lives there.

Most people don't take Farrakhan seriously in our country. You'll find inaccuracies and conspiracy theories all day long. This thread was more for fun. Farrakhan is just another hateful racist that's OK to poke fun at.

I understand he plays the violin quite well; and you have to admit, he makes a good speech, regardless of the daft content. One of those odd coincidences of history shows that when Louis Walcott was living on Massachusetts Ave in Boston in 1954, Martin Luther King lived a few doors away (King was doing his PhD at the time). Walcott, the son of Caribbean immigrants, was a mostly calypso singer in a nearby nightclub and met MalcolmX in a nearby restaurant called the Chicken Lane. He converted a year or so later after leaving a gig at the Blue Angel in Chicago to attend a 'St Saviour's Day' pageant run by the Lost-Found Nation of Islam, as it was called in those days...and the rest is history.

Louis is entertaining. I'll give him that. He almost won me over when talking about McDonald's until he started talking about the secret sauce and Satan in the same sentence.
