I actually think Sandra Fluke looks pretty hot, but I guess she's the new right wing target so she's in for a long ride now with stuff like this. By the way, Republicans need to stop talking about birth control real quick or this election could turn real ugly for them. I laughed when I saw the recent #'s of GOP Catholic primary voters... turns out they don't like Santorum at all. And that's just the GOP Catholics. Basically, the US Bishops have lost. The Vatican can't even control European Catholics, as Europe has been distributing birth control and delivering abortions through national healthcare programs for years now - even in highly Catholic countries like Italy and France. I guess they were looking to make a last stand in the USA. Religious liberty, my ass.

Sorry...but I can't get past her grand standing and fact challenged "testimony" to evaluate her looks. And then to go on the View and tout Media Matters? Ok...I just checked her out. She's all yours. lmao ......A thousand bucks a year for birth control ??? Memo to Ms. Fluke....call planned parenthood and they'll pony up all the birth control you can swallow, and for free.....by way of tens of millions of tax payer dollars. She's a flack, not a fluke, and that's not attractive.

Odie...there's some dupes on here, but I don't put you in that class. Almost no one on the right is talking about birth control....We're talking about religious institutions being mandated to pay for it.....that's a fundemental issue....you understand the difference.
Your foolish if you think the war is over and the bodies buried. The bishops are not going away, and despite many, most in fact Catholics using birth control, they don't want the institutions they support being forced to provide it. It's not about the Vatican "controlling" Catholics. There's a huge difference in those dynamics. Cardinal Dolan is immensely popular , not overtly political (until now) and clearly states this isn't a done deal. And the only way to deal with Sebelius' new found power in such matters is the courts, and The American Center for Law and Justice is gearing up for a court challenge, and I'll be writing a fat check. Sorry but we'll see you in court....unless Obama Care crumbles first.

Yep, the GOP has a real winner there. I'm sure if the Repubs just keep brow-beating and insulting women, all the while insisting that the men know what's best, women will reward them come November.

It's actually kind of shocking to watch a major political party commit suicide right before your eyes but...I guess those sluts gotta be punished. LOL

OMK, you started out on this board claiming to be a libertarian-ish fiscal conservative, but you pick up the sword almost every time a social conservative issue is discussed. Frankly I don't see a credit card's width of difference btwn your views and the views of the average religious rightwinger - all of whom are staunch Republicans. If you weren't a social conservative, you would see this birth control issue for what it is - suicidal for Republicans.

Dolan's a Vatican flack. I don't claim to speak for all Catholilcs but as a person who attended Mass regularly as recently as a year ago, I have travelled in a pretty broad circle of Catholics and I can assure you Dolan's appeal amongst Catholics isn't even close to universal. The Vatican has sent him to do a job, and he's doing that job faithfully. This is a top-down built organization that is truly out of touch with the base. I've been to services in Ireland, France, South America and Central America. What I see is a power structure that is more and more disconnected from the masses. That's why you see the Vatican emphasize the fuck out of their inroads into Africa and Asia. In places like Uganda and South Korea, you have very conservative populations that have really gravitated to the calls of the papacy of the last 30 years. That's where the church is growing. The rest of planet... not so much. They can call Ireland a Catholic country, but when you actually compute attendance at Mass - and when you extrapolate future attendance (current attendance is dominated by old people) you see a dying religion.

Again, if Republican Catholics (the most conservative of all) are rejecting Santorum, who spouts Vatican dogma 24/7, that's a pretty big indicator of how American Catholics feel about this whole religious liberty nonsense.

Someone pointed out that Mr Rush Limbaugh who has raised his infamous voice against contraception has been married four times - but has no children from any of these marriages. Does that mean his attitude towards contraception is hypocritical or is he just impotent?

LMAO...I could give a rats ass about contraception, but appearently it's the most important thing in this dopes life....Let's play word association....I say Sandra Fluke....you say...what????.............. "CONTRACEPTION". Sadly, that's her claim to fame. Here she is talkin' it up with the crew on the view LMAO

"I could give a rats ass about contraception," says the guy who has brought this thread not 1 but 2 photoshopped pics of Ms Fluke either wearing or surrounded by condoms. I think the lady doth protest too much. LMAO, indeed.

And now we learn that the innocent 30 year old law student just struggling to get by trying to pay for school and birth control is being represented by Anita Dunn's PR firm. Connect the dots. LMAO. She's appeared on major network TV venues 8 times to date.....and We're doubling down on contraception? That's rich.

Reality check Trish....for seemingly perceptive political observers you and Odie got reeled in by a pawn, and not a very good one. I predict by the time this is said and done, Ms. Fluke will be a bad memory of a perfect storm gone bad for you libs falling all over each other to defend her. She's going to provide a wealth of material for Comedy Central...please stand by ....

Ms. Fluke will be a ... memory...Well it's not like Ms. Fluke is a public figure or ever wished to be. I certainly hope, for her sake, that her time in the limelight is finite. You better hope so too. Between vaginal probe rape bills and all your candidates opposing contraception, you problems enough, what with all our country's proud voting sluts leaving the GOP in droves. :D LMAO@U :D

By the way, who covers Ron Paul's Viagra? Do you think its part of his benefit package paid for by the taxpayers?

You don't show up at a liberal dog and pony show (after being denied by the full committee chairman because she was not qualified to discuss the subject which was religious entities being mandated to cover birth control ) with an agenda unless you want to be a public figure....that's precisely what she wanted, that's why she brought her very own cheering section, that's why she hired Anita Dunn...that's why she's been on network TV 8 times. You're entirely naive on this....you want so bad to believe her sob story. I'm sobbing now too. lmao...Dorothy wanted so bad to believe but sadly she wound up back in Kansas.... Oh no...I want this pawn out there every day all day. I want her to be hooked at the hip to Rachel Maddow and Andrea Mitchell....two crusaders in their own right. The more we know about her and her motives, and her disingenuous crusade the better for us. Hey ....I've got a win win...maybe Warren Buffet can write her a 3000 check so she can go back to her studies...after all once she does eventually graduate, she'll instantly be a 1%er (first year G Town law grads average 150K) and ole Warren he's always looking to pay more, although I'm not sure that would be tax deductible for him, so forget that.

And BTW.....you're Ron Paul question is ridiculous....If Congressman Paul was employed by a religious entity whining about coverage, your silly comparison might be relevant. Surely you understand what this is about....don't you? I get you're trying to change the subject, to something more favorable to liberals like a phoney "WAR ON WOMEN" , but it's my job to keep you focused. Remember what this was about Trish? It was about religious institutions and entities being mandated by HHS to pay for contraception . It's about The Constitution. That's what this is about. Stay focused. Stay real.

LOL, Have you even seen the Wizard of Oz? Dorothy wants to go home. Remember, "There's no place like home"? You can't even get an analogy right if you get creative and go off your right-wing talking points. Stick to your crib notes and leave the thinking to the adults.

hey mate how much are these socialist scum going to loose by in this election? our scum will probably not be seen for another forty years after the shit they have been handing the tax payer
