New York Sports Clubs. Any members?

So I need to join a gym and am leaning towards NYSC because they are located close to home and work. Is anyone a member? How much do you pay a month? Going discount rate at the moment seems to be $90 a month? Should I wait? Do rates go down?

I went for years. They charge top dollar but I still like them better than the rest. Their equipment is great quality and it always works, and everything is kept nice and clean, including the locker rooms and showers. I think the higher price keeps the scummy people away too. I dunno. I like them.

yeah they def the best in town...they have an online promo going on now for $30 for a month on line only And if you join they they give 30 credit...

NYSC is pretty good, some facilities are kept nicer than others though

If you can afford and Equinox, I'd choose one. The NYSC, while adequate, is less clean and less well staffed. Just my humble opinion.

Equinox is definitely the best but, I prefer Crunch over NYSC.
I was a member of NYSC for a few years and they do have pretty good facilities.

i go to nysc but i knew a girl that used to be a manager pay 62 a month for gold membership. I'd recomend another gym for the price though 90 is to much

I highly recommened Equinox, they have the best facilities, the cleanest equipment, and most importantly, the hottest trainers :)

I have been a member of NYSC for almost 10 years. What I like is that they are everywhere. I have used over 20 different locations over the years due to residence change or job changes.
