So, I went to a performance of it tonight and definatly enjoyed myself. There were a couple places putting on performances in the area and I was either deciding between my campus performance (with 3 people I know in it) or the city of Hartford performance which featured an added part to the monolugue that was meant for a transwoman or transman (I have conflicting info and not sure which). Ended up going to see my campus one and even got to tighten a new friendship with this girl I'm attracted to and has made equal comments about me :) Have plans to see Transamerica this week, which I wasn't going to see before, but guess I am now. Anyways...
Although I had heard of The Vagina Monologues for a while, I never knew any details about it. Apparently Eve Ensler is continually adding to it each year. Not sure if this new transwoman or transman part was just for Hartford this year, but was curious if anyone might have seen it with that part? And if so, what they thought?
