how about all of them. i have never seen a female comic that i like at all.

their best jokes are making fun of men or their vaginas and they are not good jokes

It's Stand-Up by the Numbers(Female Edition)

There are good female sketch comedians and actresses but no good stand-up comics. Margaret Cho is abominable as well just in case anyone tries to mention her.

It's pretty much the same here in the UK. I don't find any of them funny. I guess it's a girl thing.

Wanda Sykes
Judy Tenuta
Carol Leifer
Lisa Lampanelli

Ellen DeGeneris is like watching paint dry. She's horrible, her talk show is terrible too. I don't know how she ever got as far as she did. I'd say she probably fucked someone, but I think I can rule that out.

Is Joan Rivers classed as a comedienne? I always thought she was horrible in every way.

Louis CK fucked her in an episode of Louie.

That Whitney broad really sucks too.

Aisha Tyler -- cute girls just need to titilate. They aren't funny on purpose.

Didn't Sandra Bernhard do comedy? I always thought she was incredibly annoying and hard on the eyes. Kathy Griffin can be annoying too but she can also be funny and is kinda hot.

I gotta be honest; one of the few female stand up routines I have seen over the years that I actually enjoyed was, oddly enough, Whoopi Goldberg! :hide-1:

The rest, however, are fork-across-a-chalkboard annoying...

Whoopi Goldberg has talent and depth.

As far as funny ladies, my favorite is SNL's Kristen Wiig. She nails most any character no matter how ridiculous.

Sarah Silverman is probably the best out of the worst. She told a funny story about her ancestors being raped by Mongols on Kimmel once.

sarah silverman is ok...some of her material is funny but most of it, i pass on. i actually had a thing for her, but then i met her and she isn't that pleasant...either to look at or talk to.

i forgot about lisa lampanelli...she actually isn't half bad. i think her whole "i'm an old white cunt that can say anything" schtick goes only so far. i am not insulted by her, but after a while, it is so repetitive.

Not much for comedians like Dennis Miller or Bill Maher who go as much for applause as laughter.

TBF As a percentage, seeings as there is more male comedian out there, there are as many bad male comics as female, sure we have Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor etc but more often than not there's only 2 or 3 every generation and when you consider how many male stand ups there are that's pretty poor.

As for female's generally doing similar material you wanna catch some of the male comics here in Britain Dino, there is very little difference between what Michael Mcuntyre, Russell Howard, John Bishop, Jason Manford and Kevin Bridges do.

Dennis Miller back in the 80's was very funny, and was one of the most quoted comedians of the day. I still remember "Ronald Regan is 80 and has the button to start a nuclear war. My grandfather is 80 and we won't let him touch the remote control."

Then 3 things happened, he got a little to full of himself, he got a disaterous talk show that killed his confidence, and he went conservative. He lost half his audience when he did that, and with the other failures, he lost a lot of confidence in his act, and started changing it. This from a mutual friend who I used to do standup with back in the day. Now he's an "applause" guy. That seems to be the way comedy goes now. Everyone goes for the applause line, no one goes for the belly laugh anymore.

I always thought Norm was better on Weekend Update. They're both funny here.

I might pull it to that Amy Schumer pictured above. I kinda dig her and have seen her on Red Eye many times. I concede there are a couple of funny gals.

eh...i disagree. there are funny actresses...women that can deliver the lines well when the script is funny. stand up...not so much.

There are many funny ladies in sketch comedy and other acting but stand-up is a difficult form of comedic expression for women. There are exceptions but very few. My opinion only.

Here's Flo, the Progressive Insurance Lady on stage. At least she wore a cool Exorcist shirt.
