backend for adult website

i know there are a lot of adult webmasters on here, what do you guys use for backend software on your sites?

what do you think about using wordpress for it? basically, need way to organize photos and upload flash videos

It all depends on what you wanna do. Each project has it's own set of requirements, which some platforms are better suited for. Are you building a TGP, Tube site, membership site, Video On Demand, Social Networking, or something else?

You gotta cough up the details to get the right answers.

As SebBM says. If you are doing a blog type thing then Wordpress is excellent.

i will be going to elevatedX in the next couple of months, its expensive sort of but the thigns you can do with it are just amazing ...and its used by all the big boys in straight :) get a hosting/cms monthly deal ...

Wordpress is fine if you have the skilset/time to fuck about with it all the time etc ... again depends what your doing ... for my blogs i use wordpress .

i am building a membership site ... i looked at elevatedx but their pricing is way to high ... i am leaning towards wordpress i think it should work good ... i basically need photo galleries, easy video upload and an updates page ...

google about, loads of options. wordpress would be perfect if your just starting and want to be independent - it is a bit restricted if your already established and wanting to move onwards with stuff. i recently gone with the option of a rented CMS, elevated X (yes its expensive but it does everything I want and more )

I wish the wordpress plugins had been around towards the end of 2008 for my website. ho hum :)
