Hey again everyone,

I've receive some really good advice, and have seen many beautiful people on this website. I am a ways away from being part of that group, but I want to get there as fast as I can...

Anyways, do you think I could make it in porn? Or do I need to go in for my first surgeries before I can start that road? I need money, and I'm one of the most kinky people I know. I have very little experience but I am into just about anything.

Do you know of any place that would hire me?? Maybe you could help with some advice??

Thanks,
With love
-Jessica

just send pics to companies and see if they want to shoot u. Grooby is known for shooting girls early in transition and beyond, so does Strokers... I am not sure about SMC, but all you can do is submit pics. Most of those sites at bottom say do you wanna model, that gives you a link to click on.

Thank you for the advice Michelle :) I really appreciate it. I've already sent an email to Grooby, and now working on sending one to Stokers. I'll also be working on getting a sexy wardrobe so I can take more pictures and post them up here :)

Some pictures might be helpful. Could you enlarge your avatar so we can get a better look?

Please do. You will run into some jerks here with all kinds of motivations. There are also many others here you will find as friends and the forum could be a great support system for you. This place can be a wild ride so try not to let people get under your skin. I've learned a lot here too.

Avoid conflicts, talk about all kinds of topics, be pretty as you already are, and you'll make friends hand over fist in here. Living in LA, these people seem nice to me.

Adriana is a great gal too from Italy.

So, I've seen a couple of these 'Can I Make It In Porn' threads now so I thought I'd chime in with my 2 cents...

Personally, I don't think the question should be, 'Can I make it?' but 'How hard will I have to work?' I think a lot of people think porn is just spread your legs easy but I think anyone who is serious about their career would tell you that it takes a lot of self-promotion, dedication to your 'craft', and just plain elbow grease to actually 'make it' in the porn world. To be successful, you've got to put yourself out there, take rejection well, and be great (not just good) at networking. Porn is an easy dime for a chosen few but the majority of successful people work hard to make their careers.

The best advice I could offer (because I've been there, done that), is to educate yourself about the major companies shooting this niche (Grooby, SMC, Strokers, etc.) and figure out where you belong. Do a shoot where you can to see if you actually ENJOY working in porn, because believe me, if you don't, you'll never 'make it'. Then, once you've established that you want to take your life in this direction, start a site, either for / by yourself or with somewhere like Groobygirls.com or independently operated networks like Bella's or the UP Network.

I'm convinced that there are Fans out there for just about any 'look'... the hard part comes when you need to find them and market yourself to them.

Hope that helps :) and good luck!

Honestly that is some advice I will take to heart. There is a lot of truth in what you said. It really makes me think I can do it, because I never am lazy about anything I am serious about. Getting into porn is something I really want to happen. My networking skills are not that great so, I will most likely try to join a website that is already successful, then start promoting myself once I start making a name for myself. I know it take a lot of work, I just need one person to say "Hired" for me get my foot in the door. After that, I know I can put myself fulling into making it a career. :)

Thanks so much for the advice!! :)

I'm no expert on porn by a long shot. I'd think the first thing is that you love sex at an unusual level far surpassing most anyone's sex drive. The best girls sometimes are the ones who like wieners the most.

My favorite all-time porn star is Vanessa Del Rio. She might not be the most beautiful but she gave her all in every scene. Every porn star should have her as a role model. When she exited the business we still wanted more.

I'm not familiar with Vanessa Del Rio, but I will look her up and study her so I can better myself and become more like her. I have been looking for some what of a role model or mentor, she might be a good place to start. Thank you :)

Oh and trust me, my sex drive is very high. Always wanting, always thinking about it...into just about anything you can imagine. BDSM at all levels hehe. Hell, if I got paid I might think about fucking a horse lol. (I know its illegal) :P

I agree with Krissy so much on this... I thought coming into porn it would be so different then it was and is. I have seen girls come and go so quick. Whereas I want to be here and love what I do. But as Krissy says there is a place for everyone, but not everyone values what you got and you gotta be able to take rejection and harsh words well, because these men can rip you apart and so can companies. This past yr I have worked my ass off for my site and I will tell u, its an everyday job. I am promoting, editing, and so much work. Because my niche within this niche of ours is not supported so I have to work even harder sometimes. But, I look at it like this, I own everything I do, I feel accomplishment when a fan tells me they love what I am doing. Thats the biggest thing I can get out of this because porn is not making me millions!

Just make sure its the type of life u want to be in. Not everyone is going to be nice to you. And in order to succeed u have to do what Krissy said, promote and brand yourself. She is a big person to look up to in that... she is someone I am influenced by along with Deliah.

When they say a guy in porn is a stallion it wasn't intended to be taken literally. I appreciate your willingness but most of us here don't expect you to push the envelope that much. This is coming from a guy who favorite porn is horror films.

About Vanessa Del Rio; check out Devil In Miss Jones Part 3. Gangbang Scene. She likes it. Nuff said.

Well yeah, I know no one expects me to do that, I'm just saying that's how willing I am to do anything to get into the industry and be successful. I want it bad. I just need that one person to help me get in and I can do the rest.

I know. Just messing back with you a bit. The "I want it bad" is a good sign. You are motivated.

I'd recommend setting clear measurable targets: X members by Q1 2012, $X by Q4 2013, X mentions in trade publications, X appearances at trade events, etc. In terms of finances, know how much you need to make to break even and how much you need to make to show progress on your surgery targets.

I've seen girls make a name for themselves then have to change it once they are established (see Noname Jane vs Violet Blue (http://business.avn.com/articles/legal/Noname-Jane-The-Best-Performer-You-Never-Heard-Of-52782.html)). Look for conflicts with established brands before you start. Don't use a name that is similar to famous people or the same as another performer. Don't use a luxury brand in your name (ie Lexus Cash (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/01/lexus-files-lawsuit-against-p0rn-site/)).

When you decide on a brand, squat all over it. Go to a registrar that offers free whois privacy (like Internet.bs) and buy domain names that are similar to your brand: dot-com, dot-net, dot-org at the least. Once you get famous others will buy up similar domains like dot-name, dot-xxx and set up referral sites for your competitors or worse, sell your pirated stuff as exclusive work.

When you retire, don't let the domains you own expire - ever. Think up an exit strategy.

Well, I think I might have found an alternative to porn...I might become a BDSM 24/7 slave. :P Just started talking to a guy I met not long ago...and well this is something now I have to consider....

What do you think??
