To all the guys and girls. Are poppers part of your usual sexual routine?

Originally (back at the turn of the last century) poppers were amyl nitrates that were sold in glass ampules that you cracked, hence "poppers". They were used to treat angina and other heart conditions due to the effects of relaxing soft muscle tissue. They are now usually isobutyl nitrites that have the same effect. Basically you get a read high, a sudden rush of euphoria, and your sphincter relaxes, making anal sex easier. They are not a street drug and are sold in most sex shops. Kids will do anything to get high. When I was younger there was a butyl nitrate called "Rush"- we all tried it, but it was a temporary thing and nobody did it after we started getting real drugs. It's a cheap, legal ripoff of amyl nitrate, by the way- amyls are much better. But still a crap drug.
