the difference between a surgery and procedure is exactly that-
a nose job is a surgery, botox injections are procedures. like chemical peels, silicone injections, etc.

anything where thet have to cut and stitch you up is a surgery ;)

No hypocrisy intended, Allanah, really. I'm sorry if you feel I haven't spoken up when I should have; I try to choose my battles carefully and to be diplomatic whenever possible. Actually, there are times when I've spoken up to agree with you and defend your position--remember the long, drawn-out debate over revealing whether someone has (or a person thinks they have proof that someone has) HIV or AIDS? You and I were shoulder-to-shoulder in that one as I recall.

Maybe I should speak up more often when I think someone--anyone--is being unfairly attacked in the forum, but I usually let those posts slide, unless I really find the attack to be vicious and unfounded. And you're quite right: you don't need me to defend you! And you've usually already responded to any such attack before I even read the posts in question.

I have tremendous respect for you, Allanah, and I don't mean because you're a stunningly beautiful woman (which you are), but because you're smart, wise (hardly the same thing), and outspoken when an issue is important to you. So anyone who wants to throw low blows at Allanah, back off. She's the real deal.

i did look strange in the close up pre interview because my face was so swollen from the surgery a month before and a complication i had in one of my cheek implants- so i looked stiff i think

but over all the interview went well, the audience was responsive, and i was really pleased witht he way i looked in the interview not the pre tape

I just watched the show and I have to be honest with you it was painful to watch. And I'm not talking about Allanah's segment, but I found myself fast forwarding through the rest of the show because some of those other people looked horrifying. Allanah I love ya to death but I fast forwarded past the post surgery shots, and that's no offense to you, I just can't look at swollen faces unless its after a boxing match.
All in all your segment was good and i picked up on the guys in the audience whistling and barking, even after they saw the BEFORE picture on the bigscreen.

i must say

that was the most swollen i have ever been after a surgery. it was quite painful. i think it is important for people to see these thinga because everyone sees the outcome- most of you guys have no idea of what you have to go through during these surgeries.

and yes it was quite sad about those other cases- i feel bad when horrible things happen to people with electetive surgery

hence why u must make INFORMED decisions about your surgical choices and doctors

look i will be honest. i have had three surgeons work on my face. one was OK in florida- the next was the top ffs surgeon in the world who completley fucked up my jaw- then i met dr. lesesne. i make no money from reffering girls or anyone to him- or by endorsing him. but i have to say that he is without a doubt the BEST plastic surgeon who has worked on my face. he has performed over 20 surgeries on my face, and botox and collagen- and my REAL transformation in my opinion has been through his hands. he is an excellent surgeon who has been voted one of the best in manhattan, and one of the best in new york state. he is ivy league trained going both to princeton and duke and stanford. he is liscesned in NY and CA and has a huge number of honors and publications.

yet what speaks volumes is his work. he has worked on me, on sonia, and on many of my friends and the work is WONDERFUL.

i would not recommend anyone else at this moment.

Saw the show today. Pretty good, though some of the guests seemed a bit rushed. Felt really bad for a few them.

Lannah looked gorgeous, as always and got some good hoots and hollers from the crowd. Although, IMO, doesn't need any more excessive surgeries. Already beautiful enough. If that means anything. :P
