Joyriding? If that's riding around with no place to go like I think it is, that is one hell of a stupid reason to be in jail.

I know it was illegal in CA when I was a teen.

That's just stupid and should be illegal to put someone in jail for that reason. Complete bullshit... Hopefully I'm wrong about the definition.
