Yet people were bitching and complaining about this being a small upgrade yet Apple still is selling these things by the boatload.

In the UK, the 64GB sells (without contract) for an eye-watering £699. That's £100 more than the identically specced 32GB model. £100 extra ($155) for 32GB of flash memory?

What's that saying about a fool and his money ... ;)

Its selling out because of his death! I doubt it would be a sell out if he didnt pass away the following day of launch! Just saying! They complain all they want but its a tribute to him by buying the last thing of his life!
