Oh, I'm well aware my dear. I'm from California and currently live here. I know all of our silly laws. It just seems so unnecessary. It reminds me of states that won't sell liquor on Sundays. Come on. It's the 21st Century!

I've worked in both California and Texas. California is way stricter on its liquor laws especially when it comes to strip clubs. I was looked at like a NAZI when I worked in Texas because I was operating like I used to in LA.

I went into a supermarket looking all over for a bottle of Jack finding out that they don't sell spirits there.

I found the Texas enforcement on public consumption to be lenient compared to California. We don't have BYOB strip clubs like I saw in Texas. There was a fully nude one in South Austin off Ben White when I was there. They charged a $20 cover but it was fully nude and you could bring a bottle or cooler in. I would hate to work security there. I was fired myself from The Yellow Rose.
