Any unprotected contact leaves a chance of some form of STI however slim that chance may be.

Vaguely possible. Not likely. HIV, like many viruses, dies when it comes into contact with oxygen (bacterial STIs do not). That's why those who perform anal sex are more at risk: the sphincter creates a vacuum that a mouth, and oftentimes a vagina, does not.

As I've said in other threads regarding this question, HIV can be contracted through oral sex, in your example, should you be sucking the dick on an infected person and you have ANY wounds in the mouth including sores, split/chapped lips, accidental bites on your cheeks or lips or tongue, bleeding gums, herpes sores/lesions or etc or should you get into your eyes, infected semen or into your nose, should you be having a bloody nose or etc (both the eyes and nose contain blood vessels that easily absorb things), it is possible to acquire HIV.

If you are an avid self sucker and HIV neg, you won't. If you are HIV + already, you can't get infected either, bc u already have the bug.

Have partners tested or use a condom when performing oral. Even if you don't get HIV, other diseases can be acquired from giving head such as gonnorrea, chlamydia, herpes, etc.
