So yeah, I get to stand up for our rights (and suffer the consequences), but girls like her get to exercise them without realizing that they're the exceptions that prove the rule? The "doing it ourselves project" has nothing to do with me, other than me being frequently associated with those people because I'm queer and was the only other trans woman director nominated for a feminist porn award. The director of that film's (Doing it Ourselves) name is Tobi and she's a grad student in Oregon. I've never met her or been involved with her in any way shape or form, or even seen the movie in question. I'm pretty sure she has never heard of you, she's a academic and a queer, not really scouring HA.

My thought process is clearly demonstrated with 6 years of posts on this board, with my perspective on the biz long before you started posting here.
My thoughts on the entire thing have of course developed over time, including learning how to frame my criticisms in ways that don't alienate people needlessly. I've had a lot of ups and downs, and over time I've less and less wanted to air my laundry publicly.

I would love to be friends with Wendy Williams. She's a dynamic woman who is a genius at biz. I've only ever talked to her on the phone, never met her in person, and its been a year since we last communicated in any way. She's definitely friends with some of my friends, but we're not really pals or anything. You're entitled to your opinion. There's nobody in the trans-porn 'community' who even attempted to be my ally, which is a far cry from complaining about 'less than 100% approval and adulation.' And I let stuff go all the time, particularly when people think they know what they're talking about and don't... kind of like you right here, but I find it interesting that you bring up the 'sisterhood' thing. Sorry Bella. Just can't do it. I tried, but there's so many people to hate that I get distracted. & not just people either.
