As a Yankee die hard since i was a kid, I hear the same shit all time about buying championships, but it ain't that easy folks...just ask Lebron and Chris.

I'm glad for J Kidd and Derk...2 good guys and future hall of famers, but Mark Cuban strikes me as a bit of a dick...

as a diehard Yankee fan also I want to say Steinbrenner was a bit of a dick also
and I thank GOD for it, being a dick gets winning results in business sometimes..........

It's Dirk not Derk. Anyways you can't buy an NBA title anymore the LAkers found that out in 03-04 then the Heat did too this year.

It's very difficult to buy a championship. You could make a movie with the best directors, best actors, and best crew, but that doesn't nescessarily mean you're going to make the best film. Like a lot of things, it takes a lot of luck, a lot of heart, and a lot of good timing to ultimately be successful.

ANy pro team signs the best players it can hoping to win a championship.

Did the Mavs 'buy' a championship by signing Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler, Jason Kidd and Jason Terry??

The hate against the Heat all because Lebron chose not to play for a team that was unlikely to ever put the talent around him in Cleveland to be competitive in the Finals is really over the top.

Lebron was a FA at the end of last season and chose to sign with the Heat. Big deal.

Conservatives accuse him of treason for his role in the movie Redacted.

Ayn Rand is much more of a libertarian hero, because she looked down on religion, charity and lived a life that the family-values hypocrites could only publicly hate.
