Elisabeth Hasselbeck disses Sarah Palin on 'The View'

Are Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sarah Palin distancing themselves from each other? Hasselbeck, you may remember, had campaigned for Palin in 2008 when she was running with Sen. John McCain.

But on Thursday's edition of "The View," Hasselbeck argued that Palin is dominating headlines with her bus tour (and reinterpretations of Paul Revere's ride), and spoke in favor of GOP hopeful Mitt Romney.

"If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," Hasselbeck said. "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: Because Sarah Palin's on a bus, and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."

Palin is not a conventional political figure she is not playing by the rules and is overshadowing other candidates because the media is obsessed with her and many in the Republican party dislike it. How is it sarahs problem if the media is running around after her?Even the Guardian and Times (uk) broadsheet newspapers where there. Since when does sarah owe anything to the media or the republican party? But the republican party owe her, they owe her big time as without her Mcain would have been humiliated he would have lost so big against Obama.Mcain was the establishment pick,Republicans were not going to turn out to vote for him. and if Romney is chosen Obama is almost guaranteed another term.

Last week the media were so hysterical they were urinating on the side of the road like the dogs they are , almost killing themselves trying to keep up with the bus. Shouldn't hasselbeck be moaning about the media not giving coverage to her preferred candidate? And instead chasing after the 'dumb bitch' that is sarah Palin. Yes sarah Palin is so dumb isn't she....

I also have a feeling some of the republican establishment are concerned that if Palin runs and gets the nomination many of them will be shut out as Palin will bring in her own people and support and they will become irrelevant .Just like she is not a conventional political figure ,she will not be a conventional candidate or even president in my opinion. That is why many find her attractive . I believe she will gain even more support for her anti republican establishment moves, from very unlikely quarters.
