Welcome aboard, Son Goku.

Gotta love Quagmire.

A fave comic artist adopted that name, long before Family Guy hit the airwaves.

Brain: Ugh, I can't beileve you're serving a three year sentance, it seems so harsh.
Lois: Well, the only upside is that it's given me time to think about why I ended up in here. I guess I was stealin' because I was so sick of the same old routine. I felt like I had a void in my life, like, like, there was a secret hole in me...
Quagmire: Oh God!
Lois:...and I was tryin' to fill that hole with all kinds of expensive objects, and things...
Quagmire: Oh God!!!
Lois: ...and I felt wonderful with all those things fillin' that hole.
Quagmire: Oh God!!!!!!
Lois: I did this to myself, so I'm just gonna have to lay back and let the penal system teach me a lesson.
Quagmire: That one is also sexual.

Thanks O Bearded One. Don't know who Quagmire the comic artist is, but one of my own fave comic artists is Charles Burns. Recently the entire 12 year run of Black Hole has been put together in one kickass hardback.

I don't recall his legal name, but Josh Quagmire penned a wonderful PG13-ish indy series called Cutey Bunny back in the 80's. I haven't been in the loop for quite some time, so I don't know whatever became of both artist and book. They were both casualties of the independent comic flood and bubble-burst in '87-'90. One of the better books, but not enough power behind them.

I met 'Quagmire' in '84, while I was in Anaheim, and the best way to describe him is to imagine Michael Moore's lost twin. Big man, rather scruffly.

Ah, just Googled him: http://www.cuteybunny.com/
