Greetings All,

I am visiting Argentina currently and I have already taken my first stab at "El Busquo de Palermo."

For those who are not aware, as I wasn't, there is a park where all the TS girls hang out at night and gentlemen are able to drive by and pickup the lady of their choice.

Buenos Aires is fantastic city, one of my favs.

Blacks or Madachos at Recolletta are the two best pick up joints. There is also Hippos which aint bad. I am talking about GG girls here though, not TS girls.

Prices vary but they all come back to your room. You have to check them in with receptionist so they always carry ID which makes it very safe. Gnerally you can get their numbers for future take-aways should you desire.

I don't remember the prices for the taxi and hotel, but it was cheap. The girls negotiated the cost of the taxi, wait and return. I don't speak Spanish but had no problems. I went past madaho's it was crowded didnt seem to be many complaints.

I am surprised at Nikka's views that BA is a shithole, I guess it all depends upon what you expect.

I'm pleased that sydanddurden managed to see past all the crap and find the place & time to enjoy the many delights that Buenos Aires has to offer. Some of the Latino ladies are absolutely stunning, a good mix or Argentinian, Columbian & Brazillian, all good stuff.

Hi I'm a local from buenos aires.

First I would mention the normal things when you travel overseas (that also includes when you travel to u.s.a. or europe)
1)Take a normal amount of cash to enjoy the night (local currency, pesos) and keep some dollars or euros in another pocket, and just one credit card. I dont recommend taking your passport with you, make a photocopy or call you embassy to supply you a temporary card (most of them do). Put the passport in the safe. Its also a good idea to go on google maps and find the motels, areas, clubs and make your custom maps with the addresses, phone numbers and even how to get back to your hotel. Consider that Buenos Aires is bigger and has more people than NY.
2) dont get too drunk and I advice not messing with drugs in a foreign country (except hemp)
3) Don't wear you hawaian shirt or fancy clothes, just be a normal person and wear similar things to locals. Avoid being a show off, specially with electronics and jewels.

Now regarding going out for escorts.
The place you are looking for is "bosques de Palermo" (palermo's woods), more exactly its "zona roja" (red zone)

Lets face it its very easy to get yourself into trouble in any city particularly if you are actively seeking this sort of activity.

All I can say is that in my time there I never once felt threatened or vulnerable but maybe I'm old enough and wise enough to help me avoid it.

Buenos Aires has some beautiful architecture both old and the new. Some of the finest restaurants with the best beef and red wine you will ever come accross. Take a stroll down by the waterside to see the contrast of new & old.

The San Telmo area is an old traditional part of the city where you can really soak up the culture during the day.

Recoletta is the nightime equivalent of London's Soho but during the day you would not realise this as is the Paloma region.
