Other than there, I usually get handmade shoes & boots imported from Italy. They're not cheap either, but the quality is awesome.

Arianna, did you ever see the movie "If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium"? Murray Hamilton is one of the tourists and when he reaches Italy he hunts down a shoemaker that he has heard great things about. Unfortunately, there is a language barrier and he spends most of the time trying to describe the color 'brown' to the shoemaker. Happy to at last, he thinks, come to an understanding, he pays the shoemaker and leaves. As the door closes, the shoemaker opens a cupboard, takes out an American mailorder shoe catalog, and says "Brown!" as he places the order. :lol: :lol:
