Is there really such a thing? I have calmed down quite a bit from my teenage years and my 20's but I still can't leave myself alone. I don't think there is any such thing as excessive. Whatever amount you can handle,(No pun intended), is a good thing. My times vary. Sometimes nothing for a week, and other times from 1 to 3 times each day, maybe more if the mood hits me.
