Obama SEAL doll marks bin Laden killing

Company's action figure features muscular president with assault rifle

Navy SEALs have become national heroes since news broke that they took down Osama bin Laden, so it’s fitting that the newest action figure from a Connecticut company is a fierce-looking President Barack Obama as a SEAL.
The minute Obama said late on the night of May 1 that the U.S. had found and killed bin Laden, Emil Vicale knew which his action figure company’s would make next — Rambama.
On Wednesday morning, Hero Builders released the Obama SEAL Team 6 action figure — a muscular President in fatigues armed with an M1-A4.
Vicale, who owns the custom action figure company in Oxford, said the speech was a pivotal moment in the Obama presidency.
It was also a parallel to the speech that inspired the company in the first place almost 10 years earlier.
On Sept. 14, 2001, Vicale listened to then-President George Bush’s bullhorn speech from Ground Zero and was inspired to create Hero Builders.
As Bush stood there, with an arm around the shoulder of a New York City firefighter, Vicale saw what he thought was the first moment that Bush fit into his shoes as president.
“I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you and the people who knocked these building down will hear all of soon,” Bush said as New Yorkers chanted “U.S.A.”
Almost 10 years later, Obama spoke the words that would make Vitale feel the same way: “Tonight, I can report to the American people, and to the world, that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of al Qaeda.”
With that statement, another Hero Builders action figure is born.

A little over the top, but funny. Is it a bobble head too?

After a blast from the weapon, does he sing 'God Bless America'?

So where's the "true type figure's" monster cock? 38 articulations? It could use 1 more.

OK, from this side of the Atlantic, I broadly support Obama and what he's trying to achieve. He's certainly much better than the alternative - McCain/Palin.

However, I'm shaking my head over his poll ratings going up after the death of Bin Laden. The US economy is still in the doldrums, the running sore of Afghanistan continues (both inherited from the previous administration, of course, but I digress...) etc etc.

Are people really that shallow or do guys with perceived big balls always do well?

I suspect I already know the answer, so don't write in.....

Neither...But before we get to that...how are you so sure he's better than the alternative? That's sorta like saying "we saved the country from a depression" or we "saved" or created one million jobs"...it sounds cute and catchy, but is essentially unprovable.

Now then for those poll numbers you site....it's been discredited..oh not by the 3 major networks or any of the major daily newspapers, but by those inclined to integrity . If you're refering to the AP poll, it was skewed nearly 3-1 in favor of registered democrats. You tell me....is that a legit poll when the country is 40-40 ? Now maybe you'll understand what some of mean when we refer to a bias press. Your a pretty smart dude...don't be fooled by the headlines.

Fair enough re the polls - I bow to your local knowledge.

But could anyone, democrat or republican, really sleep easy knowing that that wilfully ignorant and certifiably crazy woman was only a heartbeat from the presidency?

Please don't defend her, omk. You're much too intelligent for that.

Speaking of Libya...I think Bush already won the war against the middle class. Now it's just a mobbing up operation for the libertarian newbies.

Can we get back to the Obama doll, & its anatomical incorrectness?
