I've never tried coquito, but it sounds damn good. As for egg nog, I used to like it, but now I'm not too big on it. I watched a friend of mine vomit up a batch of it during a night of particularly hard drinking. It was such a gross sight, it actually caused a second guy to vomit. That disabused me of the notion that drinking large volumes of egg nog was a good idea.

LMAO...Yes, it's very rich, a coupla glasses is my limit...your anecdote reminds me of the time that I got sick on tequila shots in the Navy...even the smell of it now makes me queasy.

When I visited the west indies I picked up a harsh rum under the label "Wray and Nephew". Let's just say it's a poor choice to mix with egg nog.
LOL. I told you Wray n nephew is no joke.

Come on!!!! You guys are makin' this way too hard. Get a good brand of Egg Nog from the grocery store(recommend Meadow Gold), mix with Capt. Morgan's Spiced Rum, sprinkle a little nutmeg over the top, and DRINK!
I'm having one now.
Those of you that threw up, that will happen, whatever you drink, if you take it to excess, you goof balls! You're supposed to enjoy it, NOT LIVE IT!!!!!
