Libbby, if I was in your neck of the woods, it would be a big yes!!! I love it when I get to go fishing with friends and a swap stories while drinking some cold beers, but with you it would be more exciting, maybe you could lure me in!!!

For myeslf we have some rivers upstate where we do fly fishing, it doesn't interest everyone because of the work you have to out into it, but it is rewarding when you get one. Living by the ocean I also get to do deep sea fishing, which is great but I get seasick and have to keep poping the pills just to keep not looking like kermit the frog.

Wow Libby, I'd love for you to teach me to scuba dive! It's something I've always wanted to do, but never got around to doing (and I live on the Mediterranean coast as well - shame on me!)

Oh and the thought of you in a wetsuit is most *cough* uplifting!

Libby, it looks like you are confortable in the water and you could make it your second home. For me never took scuba diving lessons but did do some snorkling, if that counts. Tagging hammerhead sharks must have been fun, Call me crazy but I always wanted to be in a cage with great whites just to see them up close in the wild.

I'm also a Padi Instructor. Here are a few pics I took on Little Cayman in October. The last pic is the wreck off Cayman Brac.

We can go to Alaska....Fish the salt water for Halibut ( the best eating fish on earth) or several crab species..Then fish the big rivers for 4 species of Salmon and Steelhead. Then at night, we can make a nice campfire, have us a fish fry, drink lots of wine, and then we'll do a little scuba diving of our own in the tent !! :fuckin:

I am a camper to the core.

To get a camping trip with some of the guys (and gals) here would be cool.

Not as cool as NYC or Vegas but close.

I gotta get my canoe out this season and do some fishing and camping out.

Since none of you punkin heads are coming to Burning Man this year.

Going big out there this year Caff.

Got my ticket already, airing out the gear and will be a part of a pretty cool camp.

After that I might fly down to LA for a few days

Hahaha!

Actually I suck at fishing or cooking but like camping. So Libs, you catch the fish, I'll make the campfire so you can cook them and we'll share a tent. :)

No but I've thought about setting one up. I haven't done local wreck diving here lately but I try to get at least one in on evry trip I take. Here are a few pics from a wreck in Cozumel.

That was the wreck Felipe Xicotencatl. I'm in NYC so we have plenty or hardcore wrecks in this area. It's just that the visibility varies greatly and it's dry suit diving. The trips are an all day affair with the boat leaving at 6 AM.

I would love to go to Truk. I just need the time and $$$.
