Lol, the Declaration of Independence is equated to socialism? I think I've heard it all now..People pitching in to build barns for each other asking for nothing but a meal, people running with buckets to put out a neighbors fire, doctors charging fees in proportion to a patience wealth in order to sustain the region's medical services. Blows your mind, does it?

One thing though: the common thread between the clips is the NFL, not the Declaration of Independence. One has to ask how you got to the hilarious conclusion that "the Declaration of Independence is equated to socialism..."? Good joke though.

Perhaps you were thinking along these lines: According to Bill Maher, socialism is the foundational model upon which the economics of NFL works. The NFL aired a tribute to the Declaration of Independence. Therefore Bill Maher is equating the beloved Declaration with socialism. Yeah, I see your logic there.

The point is: in the case of the NFL socialism works to produce a quality product that has a wide market and makes a hefty profit.
