This is appalling and unacceptable. My wife and I did not serve in the military in order for the US to become a place where citizens could be abused by "public servants" who are supposed to be protecting us.
I have had to undergo pat-downs the past several years due to an implanted medical device, but luckily have received nothing but gentle, professional treatment.
I also fly out of smaller market airports.
My Representative is a fair man, who actually tries to help us...I'm going to forward this news story to his office.
[sent off a couple of minutes ago - things like this help me understand the "Tea Party" sort of mood better]

Completely unnecessary...they decide they have to do invasive searches at airports, which is going to bring up some sensitive issues at times...and then they hire complete assholes to do it.
