Awesome movie! But... I have to ask: am I the only one who thinks that the girlfriend who broke up with Zuckerberg in the opening scene was just jealous? I know that he said some rude things, but she needs to develop a thicker skin to live in that competitive, ivy-league, east coast environment, and from what I saw, it was definitely a two-sided affair. Not to mention that, in the end, he was right about almost everything.

Just because they disagree, it doesn't give her the right to make value judgments on his just wanting a better life for both of them. I wish I had a man like that. What the fuck was her problem?

Well, she did go to BU, remember? Apparently, they don't teach the students to recognize potential billionaires there.

The whole movie concept is enormously trite but I'm not surprised you wasted an afternoon celebrating a pimple-faced billionaire.

But I figured you would have been at the Colbert/Stewart rally today selling Truther pencils from a cup.

It needed Van Damme.

Nobody beats a snake like JCVD.

Haven't seen the movie, but you're tough and obviously very intelligent and learned, so, he may come along eventually, Bella.

Yes, because The Expendables is Masterpiece Theater.

Thank you. I guess that really goes to my point (and stop me if my recent breakup becomes too apparent here): sometimes people just aren't compatible. It doesn't make one person right or wrong because people are all different.

Woah, back up the truck. Between Randy and Stone Cold....Forest Whitaker? He wasn't in The Expendables.

His scenes will be on the dvd. Remember Forrest Whitaker was "Ghost Dog" the hit man w/ a samurai's creed.

Terry Crews took Forrest place in the movie. BTW I was so glad that movie kicked ass in the box offfice and beat Eat, Pray, Love.

His beard wanted too much money and Chuck refused to work solo.

Apparently the girlfriend device which bookends the film is entirely invented. Zuckerberg had a Asian-American girlfriend before the whole Facebook thing kicked off - and she is still his girlfriend. She goes to medical school in California

Chuck Norris refuses to be in something Expendable. He is timeless.

Back to the OP... I don't think she was out of line. This happened PRE social networking craze. I think most folks then actually believed that you had some sort of privacy expectation when you're in a relationship. The dude was/is clearly a sociopath. He just gets outdone by the nutjob from Napster.

Thought it was a nothing movie about a nothing subject. It didn't offer anything interesting. It would have been better if they'd shot a documentary with the actual people.

Eh, no. I think Zuckerberg was a huge douche. She didn't need to develop thicker skin as she was doing well without him and had her own group of friends (who I suspect were decent and not obscenely condescending). He on the other hand still had her on his mind through the end of the film after he had alienated / screwed his only friends.

P.S. The Expendables sucked big time.
