Hello this is just my opinion, but as an avid lover of these types of films it seems to me that the amount of films being released has died all together??

And i am not talking about content from a website being turned into a dvd, which is fine, but i have already probably seen it.

Is it the economics of this country??

That's not true, I shot 5 movies in the last month for good directors and companies. Plus I am always shooting for my own site. And, I know a few other girls did a lot too. Keep your eyes peeled for fall. You should see a lot pop!

There has been a big drop off recently and it's mainly just to do with the state of the economy and of course, the adult industry (because of course, if they were making money - then they'd still be getting made).
Buddy is our only producer who still shoots DVD releases like the awesome two movies that Amy mentioned above but we also re-release our content on DVD from the sites, as it's a good revenue generator and reaches a different market to the websites (or for those who want the highest quality). I believe a lot of sites are doing this.

However, this doesn't mean it's sub-par quality. All the content we shoot is on pro-HD cams, properly shot and edited and the DVD content shot for all scenes on Shemale-Pornstar.com, Hazel-Tucker.com, AmyDaly.com and ShemaleJapan.com is exactly the same, as if we'd planned on releasing it on DVD first, and not the web (it's just at a higher quality when it goes on DVD because of file size restraints for the web).

econmy basically dictates it ... though as above posters have stated some directors/models are workingon/shooting themed DVDs ...

Myself my Offical Launch DVD is a complete story themed DVD that will be Physical DVD and VOD not on my website initially... But on the other hand I will be lumping scenes together from the website and releasing them as VOD only titles ....as seanchai says it just hits a different stream to the usual signup ones.

We had many companies doing it in Brasil few years ago, all working hard with many many dvds but piracy kill many. Its hard to all producers make all hard work and see people sailing it cheap in the streets all piracy

Some make a joke about downloading and everyone does it at 1 time or another but if some people dont show some type of support there will be no new content and that will suck for everyone. Support guys like damazo or a grooby site. Not saying you have to be a lifetime member but getting a month here and here from 50k fans goes a long way. As for these people stealing the content and selling it on sites? Thats some parasite leeching off someones hard work. get out there and start your business buy cameras and fly to brazil and make your own sites stop trying to ruin damazo and grooby. These are legit sites that dont try and scam your credit cards like a few others with these 1 dollar offers.

I'll be honest and say that I to look at free shit online and have not bought a DVD in a couple of years.The last DVD's I bought were GG and had to throw them away do to scratches,as with the others in my collection.I just haven't seen anything worth buying at my local adult shop so it's not that I don't want to buy them (cash only for me,no cards).
And also as far as Feature Films with story lines,even though I LOVE them I have never bought one ever.Haven't seen a story linevideo since the Taboo series in the late 80's and early 90's.They may be worth it but the price has always been too rich for my pocket.

Besides pictures always do well for me.

So I appologize to the girls for not buying at the moment but when I do I will try to go Ape Shit.

I think the Joey Silvera output has slackened off and for a long while there that was seen as the top of the pile.

I'm sure a lot of stuff still gets made. Americas Top Tranny etc seem to have replaced Rogue Adventures as the most high profile releases

I must say i loved all the response to this post, and its really said that password sharing sites, and torrents, and all this other bullshit is killing this buisness. I wish there was a way to make this content really exclusive.
A few weeks ago i sent a message to the guys at grooby, i was on torrentz.com and getting an episode of the office from nbc, and at 7am on friday, the day shemaleyum updated, the entire update for that day was already up, pics and videos in a 1.6 gig file,I sent a message to the admin and he respnded within an hour saying he was outraged and that this was just wrong. I usually bounce from a few sites to a few sites , usually spend about 100 dollars a month on porn. Many sites offer discount when u are a repeat member, and are always sending offers to cut down price.I guess i just hope that this all can be saved somehow.I guess what i am trying to say is that transsexual porn is truly a big part of my life, and i feel it slippin away into a black hole.
