Raine and Kiss and Fly are where you wanna go come Fri and Sat if you wanna go to gay bars. If not, the bars on 6th east are the loud/wild ones, and the bars on 6th west are more chill. There are many places.

Kiss and Fly is where you wanna go. Rain is full of rude pretentious people.... Kiss and Fly is open after hours on fri and sat. It is the only alternative night club in Austin. You will go there and see str8 couples, lesbians, gays, bi, tranny chasers, college kids.... etc. It gets packed and great music. Sundays is their drag show at Midnight!!!

I live here so I know.... sixth street is great if your into drunk frat guys running you over and being rude.
