Brotherhood of War (Taegukgi) when the old man goes to the gravesite at the end and asks why he never returned.

Manon de Sources - when the old woman explains to Cesar that the woman he once loved had given birth to a son, a hunchback...and realization hits him.

For some reason every time I watch FIRST BLOOD I always end up crying at Rambo's speech at the end of the film.

Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don't turn it off! It wasn't my war! You asked me, I didn't ask you! And I did what I had to do to win! But somebody wouldn't let us win! And I come back to the world and I see all those maggots at the airport, protesting me, spitting. Calling me baby killer and all kinds of vile crap! Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about! Etc etc...

Anyone else cry at movie speeches?

It doesn't even have to be a sad moment, just a moving one.

I was kind of wierded out at how emotional I got during the hearing room speech that Jim Carrey gave in "The Majestic". When he raises the Medal of Honor and the room goes silent, you can feel it coming.

Apocalypse Now: "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like...victory." It just tugs at the old heartstrings every time...

Well, I'm old enough to remember seeing Old Yeller when it was in its original theatrical release (1957), and yeah, I cried: I was five at the time. But no, speeches don't do it for me, they almost always come off as either too affected or phony or inspiring but not tear-inducing. Sad scenes though, especially with that music they play, get to me. I've a real weakness for the tear-jerking music, no matter how hard I resist.

The Mission. The speech that Jeremy Irons gives to Robert DeNiro near the end of the movie.

It doesn't matter. I really couldn't care what you think. On this board, people have written about being realistic. I am going to practice this. This is a board where for the most part the people are faceless, and they hide behind screen names. You don't live in my city, and you don't have any influence over my personal or professional life. I am not going to write about what would happen if we met, because the chance of that happening is remote. So what am I writing? I'm writing why should I care what you think? You could only insult me, or injury me emotionally if you had something that I desire from you, and there is nothing that I desire from you. Am I sensitive? Yes, I am. I have to be in my profession, because I have to care about people. I would rather be sensitive than insensitive. Your comments are not reflections of me. They are reflections of you. Your comments demostrate your intelligence and your wit not mine. If you think my comments are worthy of derision, there are others who don't, but what does it matter. We are all just pixels on screen. You may think I'm being dramatic. Maybe I am, however, I have decided that there is more to life than commenting on someones penis, or anus. If this is how you chose to spend your time, it is none of my business. I have other things which are more important than this. This is an adult entertainment board for people who are attracted to transexuals. The majority of the women on this board are escorts. The odds of me finding a mate on this board are slim, but I am not looking for one. My self concept is not depended on your thoughts or feelings about me chefmike. Make fun at me, but it cannot be at my expense, because I don't care. My experiences with transexuals are limited, because for one I was married for eighteen and a half years. I was faithful to my ex-wife. I have been divorced for one and a half years. I haven't dated that much since my separation and divorce. Perhaps I have made some mistakes in my posts, and perhaps I have been overly sensitive, and naive. Well I cannot change what I wrote, nor can I change your opinions of me or anyone else, nor do I care to. I am putting this in persepective. I don't know you or anyone else. I will proably never meet any of you so why should I care what anyone thinks of me? Today a girl decides that she aspires to be an "escort". This comes after her deriding women who are escorts. I don't understand the logic in her reasoning, but it is her life not mine. I once wrote that I didn't settle. Well I have something to confess. It's a lie. I have settle most if not all of my life, and I am tired of it. I refuse to settle any longer. It has cost me my wife and our son. I am starting over in life. I am tired of defending myself to people and especially strangers. None of you know me. I was teased, because of my crush on Giselle X. Yes I have a crush on her. She is very attractive, and I mentioned her frequently, because physically for me, she comes very close to perfection. I don't see how I was behaving any differently than anyone else who was posting pictures or making comments about the models or actresses they admire. I joined this board for two reasons. To participate in a board that caters to the women I am attracted to, and to make friends. I didn't joined to exchange barbs with you or anyone else.

I cry once at almost ever film I see at the theatre, but I'm like that.

From the trailer to Hardware Wars:

"You'll laugh! You'll cry! You'll kiss three bucks goodbye!"

Considering how long ago that was (Three bucks was the newest release at the high-end theatre in Boston at the time) brings a tear to my eye.

yea, I was watching South Central a few years ago and the last scene where the guy is trying to get his son Jimmy to come back to him was really touching. It was touching b/c it showed a black man who was given a second chance to be a father for his child, and to BE THERE for him. Something a LOT of inner city ghetto youths don't have.

it's a great movie, I suiggest you guys watch it.

Yes, after flipping through the channels late one night and realizing that I had spent nearly five minutes watching You Got Served. I just couldn't turn it off or look away. The horror! The horror!

-Quinn

p.s. If you are reading this and you actually paid money to go see this movie in the theatre, you are - or at least were - retarded.

I cried like a baby, to Matthew McConnehey's (sp?) closing arguements in "A Time to Kill". That was a gut wrencher, especially if you have a daughter. If you haven't seen it, see it. If you don't break down like a two dollar watch, you have no heart.

Arianna referenced "Requiem for a Dream"

Great film.

Best scene ever, and best movie character ever.

Uncle Hank

or the "ass to ass" man.

If you have seen the movie you know what Im talking about.

"ass to ass. Ass to Ass!"
