with IV sedation you're sorta in a twilight zone, not totally unconscious. I had it for hernia surgery and a colonoscopy. didn't feel an ounce of discomfort in either case. you're up and about almost immediately
GA shuts your body down and should be avoided if the procedures can be done using IV sedation

If you don't need general anaesthesia, especially if you are talking about 6 hours of procedures, IV Sedation is much safer.

I have had extensive surgery under both. Now, it is most likely that if you are going under for more than 4-5 hours, you will have to have a catheder inserted to drain your bladder. IV sedation is much safer as you will not need help breathing, there is no tube involved-HOWEVER you may way up during the surgery (happened to me before and fell back asleep) but you will not feel anything.

I have a question for you how much of your jaw did you get removed by Dr. O, because I wanted to go to him except I saw so many complications in past threads.

Even J.P claimed to have issues with his surgery

At the time I paid about 16,000 for the jaw, chin, and upper lip.
Speaking only for myself, as I feel it is important to be honest in order to relate my experiences, I have assymetry issues and a bump I had to have filed down. I also had an implant put in the side which was smaller. I still have lots of assymetry. The main problem was skin and muscle laxity after the surgery. As a result I needed to have a face lift, neck lift, and all sorts of corrections. What has helped is botox all over the neck and jaw.

Was it worth it? No. I would have just done my upper lip and chin with him and left the jaw alone.

Your jaw is small and you look like a pretty Amy Polar
My advice. don't touch it.

I have a very big head and I don't think shaving your jaw will make your head smaller, maybe your face will appear smaller. I mean I have never met you but from the pics it looks pretty small already.

If you want to proceed I just suggest you do tons of research with all the doctors
and know the risks, and talk to tons of girls to hear their experiences. Best of luck. X
