DeliaTS Aug. 14th Update - PNW Waterfalls

Here's a few sample pictures from a set that we took at an amazing waterfall out in the Olympic National Forest last week. The actual trail sort of ends at an overlook so we had to skirt down a pretty steep slope holding on to tree roots to keep from falling. With the noise from the waterfall and the trail being above us we had no way of knowing if someone was coming or not. It was also really hard to communicate with all the noise so a lot of time I had no idea if Trixie had gotten the shot or not. Wish we didn't feel so rushed but I think we got some pretty great photos and I did eventually get naked (except for my TH socks).

I really love this spot though and try to get out there often. There is something about the energy of a the falls and the lush green forest that really is kind of magical. I tend to lose track of time whenever I'm out there.

We would stumble across alot of interesting people and situations on those trips, but have to think that coming upon you out in that park could have been very very interesting. Great photos.

Yeah, it's definitely good mushroom territory. I try to hit a few of my secret spots when the chantrelles start popping up. We've only had a few close calls when shooting outdoors, knock on wood.
