America's obsession with beauty and lagging economy are coming together in a very deadly cocktail. Once reserved for male to female transsexuals on a quest for a more feminine appearance, silicone injections have now gone mainstream. Everyone from adult entertainers to suburban soccer moms are looking to improve upon ther looks and hoping to save a few bucks in the process.



While traditional plastic surgery can be expensive and requires tons paper work and red-tape, black market silicone injections are cheap, effective and dare I say deadly? The process of injecting silicone into the breast, face and buttocks is one that has been in practice for years (In spite of it being illegal). since its illegal to perform in the U.S. the injections are often performed by those with little to no medical experience or training (hacks) and often done in non-sterile environments, with non-sterile tools.
